Serving in the military is not for everybody and its something to be extremely proud of especially on one of the most memorable days of your life. So if you or your partner, or even both of you are serving in the Armed Forces and having a Military Wedding in the UK and you are also looking for a military wedding photographer who is as like-minded as you and knows the Armed Forces inside out, then you have come to the right place.
Military Wedding Photographer
There are so many wedding photographers out there with different styles, different prices and packages it’s just so hard to choose but what you really need is somebody who understands the military, knows the banter and is on the same wavelength as you. I get many enquiries from serving personnel saying they want somebody who understands the military and not some random civvy who doesn’t.
So a little about me. I served in the Royal Marines for just over 22 years and have been photographing weddings for several years now. I have had the honour to capture many military weddings throughout the UK from serving and former serving personnel from the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force.
Candid & Unposed Photography
I tend to photograph weddings on my own and in a relaxed & unposed documentary style. This means there is no need to worry about me taking you away from your family and friends for hours on end for posed photos. This allows you to enjoy your wedding day the way you want.
As a former Royal Marine, I have a vast knowledge of Military Tradition and an eye for detail and I can therefore offer extensive advice on planning your special day so it can run as smoothly as possible even if it’s just helping the groom get into his uniform or advising on the Guard of Honour.
I still cover all the group photos and also couple only photos but these are also very relaxed and the couple photos are certainly not posed! Remember, it’s YOUR wedding… NOT a photoshoot!
