Military Wedding Photographer

Serving in the military is not for everybody and it’s something to be extremely proud of especially on one of the most memorable days of your life. If you’re engaged and looking for a wedding photographer who is as like-minded as you and knows the military inside out then you have certainly come to the right place.

I served in the Royal Marines for just over 22 years and have been photographing military weddings throughout the UK for several years. I have had the honour to capture many military weddings throughout the UK for serving personnel and veterans from all 3 services.

Military Wedding Photography

There are so many wedding photographers out there with different styles, different prices and packages, it’s just so hard to choose but what you really need is somebody who understands the military, knows the banter and is on the same wavelength as you.

I receive many enquiries from serving military personnel saying they want somebody who understands the military and not some random civvy who doesn’t. So if you’re looking for a photographer for your military wedding why not read on!

Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army, RAF Wedding Photographer

As a former Royal Marine, I have a vast knowledge of military tradition and an eye for detail and no matter what military service you come from I can offer extensive advice on planning your special day so it can run as smoothly as possible even if it’s just helping the groom get into his uniform to advising on the guard of honour.

If you want to see a little more on how I work here’s a recent blog from a military wedding which took place at Abbey Farm Weddings in Lincolnshire with Georgia & Olly who are two serving Officers in the RAF.

No Posing Wedding Photography

My wedding photography style is all about capturing the natural flow of your day—no cheesy over-staged rubbish. Nothing is set up, nothing is posed and there is literally no interaction by me throughout the day. Sounds good so far? Don’t worry, there’s more! I often find that the best wedding photos are more about how the image makes you feel and the story the picture tells.

As a creative documentary style wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding day journey and how you, your friends, and your family react throughout it. In a way that is natural, relaxed, and most importantly, fun! If you think that sounds perfect for you then I’m happy to say that you’re in the right place.

Nick captured our wedding day perfectly! The photos we have got back are amazing!! As a photographer Nick is great, he’s so friendly and professional but you wouldn’t even notice he is there taking photos, he just feels like a guest!
